How to play

Word Scale practices the shades of meaning between similar words. Each set shows a few words and what they measure, such as smallest to largest. Move the words into order, then press Check order. A wrong order is counted and every meaning is shown so you can try again. You can ask to see the meanings once per set, which makes it a less clean set. Each set has a clock. Use the move buttons, or Alt with the up and down arrow keys.
